Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to analyze, document, and improve business processes across the organization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project leadership to understand current-state processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help implement effective solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can translate business needs into clear requirements and process documentation while effectively partnering with both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using process maps, workflows, business requirements, and other supporting documentation.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology and project teams.
• Identify process dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements.
• Support requirements gathering, process design, testing, and implementation activities.
• Partner with project managers, product owners, developers, and other technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Analyze the impact of proposed process changes and help develop recommendations.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenarios, validation, and issue tracking.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure changes are accurately reflected in business procedures.
• Communicate project status, process changes, risks, and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
• Support change management and adoption efforts related to new processes, systems, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience with business process analysis, workflow documentation, and requirements gathering.
• Experience documenting current-state and future-state processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional documentation.
• Experience supporting testing and implementation activities.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
• Experience with workflow automation or process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management/documentation tools.
• Experience working on technology implementation or transformation projects.
• Business process improvement or Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments.
