Job Title: Business Process Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to join our organization as the first dedicated business process professional on the team. This individual will play a critical role in capturing, documenting, and organizing enterprise business processes across the organization. The ideal candidate is a true business process expert who can work independently, engage stakeholders at all levels, and build process documentation standards from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to capture and document current-state business processes across the enterprise.
• Create clear process documentation, including workflows, process maps, and diagrams, rather than relying on business users to provide completed Visio diagrams or formal documentation.
• Assess existing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas where documentation is incomplete or nonexistent.
• Organize and structure business process information in a way that supports operational clarity, governance, and future-state planning.
• Support key business initiatives by aligning requirements with documented process flows.
• Help establish the foundation for process governance and change management activities, including support for change engagement or advisory boards.
• Work on high-priority business process projects, including initiatives tied to major system transformation efforts such as Oracle EBS replacement.
• Recommend and help implement tools, templates, and best practices for process mapping and documentation, with flexibility to use whatever tools best fit the environment.
• Operate with a high degree of independence, driving work forward without requiring extensive oversight or direction.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst , Business Process Consultant , or similar role with a strong focus on process capture and documentation.
• Deep expertise in business process analysis, workflow creation, and process mapping.
• Enterprise-level experience working across multiple departments and functions.
• Strong ability to interview stakeholders, extract information, and translate discussions into structured documentation and process flows.
• Demonstrated ability to bring order to ambiguous environments where processes are not yet documented or standardized.
• Self-starter who can organize work, set priorities, and build structure in a greenfield environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP transformation initiatives, particularly Oracle EBS replacement or similar platform modernization efforts.
• Familiarity with business process governance, change management frameworks, and process improvement initiatives.
• Six Sigma certification or process improvement training is a plus, but not required.
• Experience evaluating or implementing business process documentation tools.
