Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and developers to understand business needs and translate them into clear, detailed requirements documentation — including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, functional specifications, and user manuals.

• Analyse business logic, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and recommend improvements to workflows or user experience independently.

• Convert business requirements into well-structured test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure full coverage of business flows.

• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to validate that the system meets both technical and business expectations.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and track all findings through to closure.

• Conduct impact analysis for new features, enhancements, or change requests.

• Participate actively in grooming sessions, requirement discussions, and sprint planning — contributing both requirements clarity and a quality perspective.

• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly through defect summaries, test results, and reports.

• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with business goals prior to deployment.

• Adapt effectively to evolving priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment — with minimal supervision.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related IT field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, QA testing, or a combined BA/QA role within a product development or systems environment.

• Proven ability to work independently — able to pick up requirements, structure test plans, and deliver outputs without close supervision.

• Experience participating in agile/scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives).

Skills & Knowledge

• Able to communicate and written in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Hands-on experience managing requirements, defects, test cases, and project tasks using tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or equivalent collaboration platforms

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Solid understanding of SDLC, business process modelling, and UAT processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Familiar with various business analysis techniques and test design methods.

Bonus Qualifications (Advantageous)

• Working knowledge of SQL / MySQL and REST APIs.

• IIBA – Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA).

• ISTQB certification (Foundation level or above).
