Business Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document business and system requirements from different departments.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for IT teams, developers, or system vendors.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, and system documentation.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements, automation, or integration opportunities.
• Assist in the implementation, testing, and deployment of new systems and system enhancements.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document test results and system issues.
• Coordinate with IT, management, department heads, and end-users throughout system development and implementation.
• Analyze business data and prepare reports, dashboards, and insights to support management decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and manual processes.
• Monitor implemented systems and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develop user guides, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist departments in adopting new systems, workflows, and digital tools.
• Ensure that system solutions align with the company's operational and strategic objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, or a related position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of business processes and workflow analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SQL, or database systems is an advantage.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system testing is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical employees.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Willing to learn and work across different business functions.
