Business Systems Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst who can connect business needs with practical technology solutions.

You’ll work between business teams and technology specialists — understanding what people need, analysing how systems currently work, and helping turn requirements into improvements that make a measurable difference.

THE MISSION

Your role will include:

• Capture, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and desired outcomes.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Create process maps, user stories, workflows, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate system issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Support system development, testing, implementation, and release activities.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and record outcomes.
• Analyse data and system information to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate requirements, change, and system documentation.
• Work across operations, finance, commercial, and technology teams.
• Contribute to digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in business analysis, systems analysis, application support, or a similar technology environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements.
• Understanding of business processes and system workflows.
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, reporting, or data analysis.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or structured project delivery.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• A relevant qualification in Business Analysis, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline is beneficial.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
