Business Systems Analyst

We're looking for an IT Intake / BSA to support the intake, analysis, solution design, and delivery of technology initiatives. In this role, you'll partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, coordinate intake items, support estimation and solution discussions, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
 
Your future duties and responsibilities:
.    Gather and document business and system requirements
.    Coordinate assigned intake items from initiation through solution design and estimate
.    Facilitate discussions with business and technology stakeholders
.    Prepare and validate solution documentation
.    Track status, priorities, and next steps for assigned work
.    Support implementation, testing, and continuous improvement activities
.    Maintain strong communication with requestors, managers, and delivery partners
 
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 2 –3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator, PCO, Intake Analyst, or similar IT support role
. A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
. Proven track record supporting large, complex IT programs in enterprise environments.
. Experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Intake Analysis, or similar roles
. Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
. Experience with SQL, Azure DevOps, and Agile/Scrum
. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
. Experience in Financial Services, ideally Capital Markets, is an asset.
. Experience with Application and/or Architecture Development is also considered an asset

 

Skills:

. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (e.g. MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)

 
Certifications (preferred but not required):

. CAPM (Certificate in Applied Project Management)
. PMP (Project Management Professional)
. SAFe, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications
