The Business System Analyst will be based in Chennai.

In this role, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing functional and technical support, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday and related HR systems. This role serves as a key member of the HRIT team, providing second-level production support, troubleshooting complex system issues, analyzing business requirements, and designing, configuring, testing, and implementing system enhancements that support HR business processes and operational objectives.

What a typical day looks like:

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing functional and technical support, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday and related HR systems.

This role serves as a key member of the HRIT team, providing second-level production support, troubleshooting complex system issues, analyzing business requirements, and designing, configuring, testing, and implementing system enhancements that support HR business processes and operational objectives.

• Strong understanding of Workday HCM functionality, configuration, and business process administration.
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex production issues.
• Strong critical thinking and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical and sustainable system solutions.
• Understanding of HR processes and the relationship between Workday configuration and business operations.
• Knowledge of data integrity, system security, and compliance principles.
