We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst who enjoys understanding how things work and finding ways to make everyday processes easier and more effective. In this role, you’ll work with different teams to understand their needs, review existing systems and help identify practical improvements that support the wider business.

This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people and using information to make systems and processes work better.

How You’ll Contribute

• Understanding Business Needs: Speak with teams to understand their requirements and document what they need from business systems.
• Improving Processes: Review existing workflows and suggest ways to make tasks simpler, faster and more efficient.
• Reviewing Systems: Investigate system issues, understand their impact and help identify suitable solutions.
• Working with Technical Teams: Explain business requirements clearly and support the development of practical system improvements.
• Testing Changes: Help test system updates, record any issues and check that changes meet the original requirements.
• Reports and Data: Prepare reports and review business information to help teams make informed decisions.
• Keeping Records: Maintain clear documentation of system requirements, processes and updates.
• Team Communication: Keep stakeholders updated on progress, system changes and any issues that need attention.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in business systems analysis, business analysis or a similar role.
• Requirements Gathering: Ability to listen to different stakeholders and turn their needs into clear requirements.
• Process Knowledge: Understanding of business workflows and ways to improve everyday operations.
• Systems Awareness: Familiarity with business applications, databases and how different systems work together.
• Data Handling: Confidence using spreadsheets, preparing reports and working with business information.
• Problem-Solving: A practical, organised approach to investigating issues and finding solutions.
• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with different teams.
• Organisation: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines.
