Business Systems Implementation Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a full-time, detail-oriented Business Systems Implementation Specialist to help our Practice Director guide clients through new accounting and ERP systems. We work with several platforms, including Sage 100, MISys Manufacturing, Intuit Enterprise Suite, QuickBooks, and Sage 50, so we can match each client with the system that fits their business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems, learning new software, and working directly with clients from kickoff to go-live. Pay within the range is based on experience, and we welcome both experienced implementers and strong accountants ready to grow into systems work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software implementations from start to finish, including planning, setup, data conversion, testing, and go-live
• Review client accounting and operational workflows and recommend improvements
• Configure systems to fit each client's processes, including reporting, multi-entity setups, and automation
• Train client users and provide support after go-live
• Travel to client sites for on-site training and go-live support on projects you lead, primarily within the region
• Assist with project scoping and discovery alongside the sales team
• Maintain organized project notes, status updates, and client communications
• Coordinate with the Practice Director to prioritize projects and client needs

What We Are Looking For

• Experience implementing, supporting, or administering ERP or accounting software
• Strong accounting knowledge, including bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple clients at once
• Confident, professional communication with clients at all levels
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including occasional overnight trips
• Experience with Sage 100, MISys, QuickBooks, or Intuit Enterprise Suite is a plus
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is helpful but not required
