Business Systems Manager

About the role

To coordinate, support and continually improve NZCB's business systems, digital platforms and technology vendors. The role will act as the central point of coordination for NZCB's business systems and integrations, ensuring systems remain reliable, fit for purpose, well documented and capable of supporting the organisation's operational and strategic objectives. The role will work closely with business users, external technology providers and the Chief Financial Officer to drive ongoing improvements and maintain effective system governance.

This is a fixed-term contract role for 6 months with the possibility of extension to 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for managed IT provider, Salesforce consultants, website provider, and software and application vendors
• Log, track and manage support requests and enhancement work, monitor vendor performance and service delivery
• Coordinate and maintain integrations between key NZCB systems, including Salesforce, Toolshed, website systems and other business applications
• Document integration points, data flows, ownership and support arrangements
• Coordinate testing of system enhancements and updates and support user acceptance testing for new functionality
• Act as the internal coordinator and day-to-day owner of NZCB's business systems, including Salesforce, Toolshed, website systems and other business applications
• Maintain system ownership records, access registers and key governance documentation
• Coordinate the ongoing operation of the Toolshed platform, including product configuration, product updates and user experience improvements
• Support business reporting requirements across key systems and monitor data quality
• Maintain documentation relating to system architecture, integrations, key business processes, vendor contacts, user guides and system procedures

About you

• Experience (4-5 years) in business systems administration, systems coordination, SaaS/cloud-based applications, or technology support or business systems environments
• Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Experience working with cloud-based business applications
• Experience with system vendors and external service providers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and SharePoint
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
