While not a traditional technical position, the analyst must be comfortable working within ERP systems, interpreting operational data, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable continuous improvement. Preferred candidates bring light programming or scripting experience to enhance problem-solving, support data validation, and streamline workflow analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks; assess and address skill gaps across the operation.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, performance management, and operational discipline.
  • Lead capital upgrades and efficiency initiatives to improve productivity across overall operations.
  • Responsible for achieving budgeted revenue, cost, quality, and delivery performance for the Business Unit.
  • Integrate effectively with shared services, including shipping, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including construction teams, government bodies, and third-party vendors.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Align operational objectives with company growth strategy, customer requirements, and performance goals.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong understanding of business process mapping, workflow optimization, and operational analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and transactional flows (Epicor experience is a plus).
  • Ability to interpret operational metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Competent in root-cause analysis, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills; comfortable working across departments.
  • Preferred: Basic programming or scripting capabilities (SQL, Python, VBA, or similar) to support analytical tasks—not required but beneficial.

COMPETENCIES

  • Communication: Clear, professional, verbal, and written communication with both customers and internal teams.
  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with production, engineering, and administrative staff to support program objectives.
  • Initiative: Takes ownership of tasks, anticipates needs, and follows through without constant supervision.
  • Problem-Solving: Gathers data, identifies issues, and assists in implementing practical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Professionalism: Maintains confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity in all programs and customer communications.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Exposure for KPI development and performance monitoring.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply-chain environments.
