Business Unit Manager (CPD Business)

Job Descriptions:

• Define the strategy and growth direction of the SkillLaneCPD business in line with company goals and direction.

• Plan and manage the budget, and monitor the P&L performance of the CPD business line against targets.

• Operational Leadership: Direct the day-to-day operations of the CPD division, ensuring seamless and efficient workflows.

• Strategic Growth: Partner with the Licensing, Sales, Creative, and Product teams to design and execute business strategies, operating plans, and financial models that scale the business.

• Process Innovation: Architect new workflows and streamline existing procedures to improve overall efficiency.

• Customer Centricity: Champion a frictionless, high-quality experience for all users and lead key client engagement initiatives.

• Product Vision: Define the rationale and detailed business requirements for new tech products, guiding the technology team to ensure development aligns with strategic objectives.

• Execution & Consolidation: Plan and manage the execution of business consolidation initiatives to meet critical commitments.

• Performance Management: Track, analyze, and optimize both the operational metrics and financial health of the business to hit growth targets.

• Team Development: Mentor, lead, and scale the CPD team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

• Demographics & Education: Candidates have full working rights for Thailand with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Core Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in operations, process optimization, or a related field.
• Leadership Experience: At least 3 years in a management role overseeing direct reports and full P&L responsibilities.
• Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated success in people management, team development, and strategic leadership.
• Problem Solving: Highly analytical and logical thinker, capable of navigating ambiguity and making sound, data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and present to senior leadership.
• Organization: High attention to detail with the capacity to manage large data sets, multiple priorities, and diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
• Industry Background: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Prior experience in the retail training or SaaS sectors is a strong advantage.
