BusinessObjects Data Services Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS LEAD to support data migration activities for an SAP S/4HANA migration project. The role will focus on ETL development, data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop BODS jobs, workflows, and dataflows for SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Extract and transform data from SAP ECC and non-SAP source systems.
• Perform data cleansing, standardization, mapping, enrichment, and validation.
• Support migration of SAP master and transactional data.
• Develop data quality and reconciliation reports.
• Collaborate with functional, data migration, and business teams on mapping and validation requirements.
• Support SIT, UAT, mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production cutover.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize ETL performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and operational runbooks.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) experience.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA data migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL, data profiling, and data quality management.
• Experience with SAP master data such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, GL, and Cost Center.
• Knowledge of data migration methodologies, reconciliation, and validation processes.
• Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, Syniti, SNP, SAP Data Services Migration Workbench, or similar migration tools is an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup and report onsite as required.
