Busperson - Hotel Restaurant

At the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel, we offer breathtaking views of New York City from the banks of the Hudson River. Our Weehawken hotel provides a relaxing environment with convenient access to Manhattan via a six-minute ferry ride. Our caring and committed staff ensure our guests have a memorable experience at Beneci's, our hotel's restaurant and bar, with the most authentic Italian food on this side of the Hudson! We are seeking a Busperson to support the restaurant and food & beverage team by maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear and clean tables promptly while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

• Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and other necessary items.

• Assist servers with delivering food, beverages, and other items to guests.

• Refill water and assist guests with basic dining needs as requested.

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and other assigned areas.

• Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the appropriate dishwashing area.

• Assist with stocking and replenishing supplies throughout the shift.

• Support servers and restaurant management during busy periods.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

• Handle dishes, glassware, and equipment carefully to prevent damage.

• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.

• Communicate guest requests, concerns, or special needs to the appropriate team member.

• Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly attitude with guests and coworkers.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull and lift.

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
