Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, including chairs, tables, and surrounding surfaces, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or equipment safely and with proper lifting techniques
• Support servers by bussing dishes, glasses, and utensils promptly to maintain a clean dining space
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnovers and guest needs
• Maintain cleanliness in the service area by sweeping floors and disposing of trash appropriately
• Assist with basic food handling tasks when necessary, always following health and safety guidelines

Skills

• Strong cleaning and sanitation skills to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the restaurant
• Excellent internal communication skills to work seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of table setting, food safety procedures, and catering practices is a plus
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
• Effective communication skills to ensure smooth teamwork during busy hours

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
