Job Summary

Duties

• Clear and reset tables swiftly after guests leave, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for incoming diners
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages when needed, supporting smooth service flow
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic garnishing or assembling simple dishes when required
• Handle bussing duties efficiently during busy periods to keep the dining environment organized and comfortable
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup to uphold food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members about table status and guest needs to ensure excellent guest relations

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments, including host/hostess roles or catering experience
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and cash handling when necessary
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic cooking or meal preparation skills are beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $22.42 - $27.00 per hour
