Busser – Japanese Restaurant (SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY)

O Fine Japanese Cuisine is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Busser to join our front-of-house team. The Busser plays an important role in keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and running smoothly while supporting servers and providing our guests with a great dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and properly between guests.
• Keep tables stocked and organized throughout service.
• Refill guest water as needed and assist servers with maintaining their tables.
• Remove used plates, glassware, utensils, and other items from tables.
• Bring dirty dishes and glassware to the appropriate dishwashing areas.
• Assist servers with running food or other items when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, server stations, and other front-of-house areas.
• Sweep and clean floors as necessary throughout the shift.
• Help keep restrooms and guest areas clean and presentable.
• Restock supplies, including napkins, utensils, glassware, and other service items.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Communicate with servers, hosts, managers, and kitchen staff to help service run efficiently.
• Follow all restaurant food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the Manager or Shift Lead.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to safely lift and carry bus tubs, dishes, and restaurant supplies.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, attentive, hardworking, and team-oriented. A successful Busser should be able to recognize what needs to be done without always being asked and work closely with the rest of the front-of-house team to provide efficient and professional service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
