Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring a seamless flow of service
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, supporting excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down tables, chairs, and floors to uphold sanitation standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support sanitation protocols by properly disposing of trash and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Assist with basic food service tasks when needed, including setting tables and restocking supplies

Skills

• Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to ensure a tidy dining environment
• Experience in bussing or food service roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of items
• Excellent internal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and servers
• Customer service mindset with friendly, positive attitude toward guests and colleagues
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices within the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and contribute to a team-oriented environment
