Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, and supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support sanitation standards by properly disposing of trash and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Assist with basic food handling and catering support when required to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills for internal coordination and guest interaction
• Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and proper cleaning procedures within the food industry
• Experience with table setting, bussing, and supporting serving staff is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere
