Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for incoming guests
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation of dining areas, including floors, chairs, and service stations
• Support servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to maintain a tidy workspace
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Support catering or special event setups by providing quick and reliable service assistance

Requirements

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve guests courteously
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Knowledge of sanitation, cleaning procedures, and food safety standards within the food industry
• Excellent customer service attitude with a positive, energetic approach to teamwork
• Basic understanding of table setting, serving etiquette, and hospitality practices is advantageous
• Prior experience in catering or kitchen environments can be a plus but is not mandatory

Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
