JOB SUMMARY

The Busser keeps the dining outlets at the property running smoothly by clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables to support attentive, seamless service. This role assists servers, keeps the dining room clean and stocked, and helps guests feel well cared for. The Busser contributes directly to table turnover, cleanliness, and the overall guest experience. Working closely with servers and the outlet team, this position supports service throughout each shift.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Language requirements are confirmed by property at the time of posting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on occupancy.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience.
• Bilingual ability appropriate to the property's guests.
• Team-oriented and fast-paced work style.

FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to support table turnover.
• Assist servers with water, bread, and guest requests.
• Keep the dining room, stations, and service areas clean and stocked.
• Transport dishware and glassware to the dish area safely.
• Restock supplies, linens, and condiments.
• Support setup and breakdown for service periods.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with side work and closing duties.
• Communicate table status to servers and the team.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand and walk for the majority of a shift.
• Lift and carry bus tubs and trays up to 40 pounds.
• Frequently bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment during peak service.
• Work in indoor and outdoor dining areas with exposure to heat and sun consistent with the property's climate.
