Busser

The Sample Room is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Busser to support daily restaurant operations and help provide an organized and welcoming dining experience for guests. This role involves clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, maintaining clean dining areas, and supporting the front-of-house team during busy service periods. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish dining
• Reset tables with clean plates, utensils, napkins, and other service items
• Assist servers with food and beverage service as needed
• Help deliver food and beverages to guest tables
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining areas
• Refill water and routine table supplies when appropriate
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and service items from dining areas
• Assist with maintaining clean service stations and front-of-house areas
• Restock napkins, utensils, plates, and other restaurant supplies
• Communicate guest requests and service needs to servers or supervisors
• Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
• Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen staff, and restaurant management

Qualifications

• Previous busser, restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful
• Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to guests
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment
• Good attention to cleanliness and organization
• Able to move efficiently while maintaining a professional approach
• Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
