Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests leave, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new diners
• Assist with cleaning dishes, glassware, utensils, and other serviceware using proper sanitation procedures
• Support servers by bussing tables promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and service speed
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or cleaning supplies following safe lifting practices
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Support food handling and sanitation standards to uphold food safety regulations and ensure a hygienic environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of furniture or supplies
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices is a plus
• Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and energetic approach
• Experience in catering, hotel, or hospitality industries is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
