Busser

Chimborazo is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Busser to support daily restaurant operations and help provide a clean and welcoming dining experience for guests. This role involves clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining clean dining areas, and supporting servers and restaurant team members during busy service periods. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish dining
• Reset tables with clean plates, utensils, napkins, and other service items
• Assist servers and restaurant team members with food and beverage service
• Help deliver food and beverages to guest tables as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining areas
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and service items from tables
• Keep service stations and front-of-house areas clean and properly stocked
• Restock napkins, utensils, plates, cups, and other restaurant supplies
• Assist with maintaining smooth guest and service flow during busy periods
• Communicate guest requests or service needs to servers or supervisors
• Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant duties
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
• Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen staff, and restaurant management

Qualifications

• Previous busser, restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful
• Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to guests
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Good attention to cleanliness and organization
• Able to remain active and organized during busy service periods
• Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
