Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a steady flow of seating during busy hours
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surrounding surfaces
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support servers by bussing dishes, glasses, and silverware to ensure smooth service operations
• Maintain open internal communication with team members to coordinate table turnovers and guest needs
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation standards are upheld to promote food safety and cleanliness
• Assist in setting tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments to prepare for new guests

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of sanitation, cleaning procedures, and food safety standards
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and support staff
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Customer service mindset with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with table setting techniques and catering practices is a plus
