Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, supplies, or trash with safe lifting practices
• Support sanitation procedures by adhering to food safety standards and restaurant hygiene protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
• Help with catering setups or special event support as needed to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills

• Strong cleaning and sanitation skills to uphold health standards in a busy restaurant environment
• Experience in bussing or food service roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
• Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management
• Customer service mindset with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of table setting techniques and food safety regulations within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Effective communication skills to understand instructions clearly and work collaboratively within a team
