Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive in-person customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and process cash transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and ensuring food safety sanitizing procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, dining areas, kitchen stations, and restrooms in accordance with food safety management standards
• Support food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold hygiene standards across all service areas
• Handle weight-based tasks such as portioning ingredients or managing stock levels with care and precision
• Operate kitchen equipment safely during food prep activities and assist with basic culinary tasks to support the kitchen team
• Engage with guests about wine knowledge or other menu items to enhance their experience
• Support banquet, catering, or special event setups as required, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-organized

Requirements

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including weight handling in the workplace
• Experience operating POS systems for processing transactions accurately
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and supporting food preparation activities
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order management
• Knowledge of wine or beverage service is a plus; barista experience is desirable
• Previous catering or banquet experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on in-person customer interactions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
