Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience
• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and accurately, supporting timely service delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
• Handle manual tasks such as carrying trays, dishes, and supplies safely with proper lifting techniques
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed, adhering to food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to uphold health regulations and restaurant standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety regulations within the food industry
• Excellent customer service attitude with a friendly, energetic approach
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods in a busy setting
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations and hospitality principles is advantageous
