Busser

Job Summary

Luigi's - Italian Restaurant is seeking a friendly and dependable Busser to support the dining-room team and help maintain a smooth, welcoming guest experience. This role assists servers, keeps tables clean and properly reset, and helps the restaurant remain organized during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Clear plates, glasses, silverware, and other items from tables promptly.
• Clean and reset tables for incoming guests.
• Assist servers with water, bread, condiments, and other guest needs.
• Maintain clean and organized dining-room areas throughout each shift.
• Help prepare tables and dining areas before service.
• Support food and beverage running when needed.
• Keep service stations stocked with necessary supplies.
• Sweep and maintain floors and other assigned areas.
• Communicate guest requests or concerns to servers and management.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Follow restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and food-safety procedures.
• Work as a team with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly, helpful, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and carry trays or restaurant supplies.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29.0 per week
