In this vital support role, you will assist servers by maintaining a clean and inviting environment, ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, and supporting food service operations with efficiency and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables swiftly and efficiently to maintain a clean dining area.
• Assist with food delivery by bussing tables and supporting serving staff as needed.
• Ensure all dining surfaces, utensils, and tableware are sanitized and properly set according to restaurant standards.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices.
• Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
• Support sanitation protocols to uphold food safety standards and ensure a hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact courteously with guests.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, table setting, and food handling procedures is advantageous.
• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills that enhance the guest experience.
• Familiarity with the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
