Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for new guests
• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly to maintain a steady flow of seating and service
• Handle manual tasks such as carrying trays, heavy lifting of tableware, and moving supplies safely following proper lifting practices
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs in accordance with sanitation standards
• Support food handling procedures by ensuring proper sanitation and safe food service practices are followed
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnovers and address guest needs promptly
• Assist with basic kitchen duties when needed, including restocking supplies and supporting catering or event setups

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Strong knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and food safety protocols within the food industry
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
• Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and interact politely with guests
• Familiarity with table setting, serving support, and catering setup is a plus
• Ability to stay energetic during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in cleanliness and customer service standards
• A positive attitude with a commitment to hospitality excellence
