Busser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Busser to join our Greek and Lebanese restaurant team! We take pride in providing our guests with delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. As a Busser, you will play an important role in keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and running smoothly by clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and maintaining a tidy dining environment. We are looking for someone who works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and is willing to help wherever needed. Previous restaurant experience is a plus but is not required for candidates who are motivated and eager to learn. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with weekend availability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear tables promptly after guests finish dining and prepare them for the next customers.
• Clean, wipe down, and sanitize tables, chairs, and dining surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Reset tables with the appropriate utensils, napkins, and other dining supplies.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables when needed.
• Support servers and other team members during busy shifts to help maintain efficient service.
• Keep dining areas, walkways, service stations, and other assigned areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Sweep floors and assist with general cleaning duties throughout the restaurant.
• Collect dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them to the appropriate cleaning area.
• Restock napkins, utensils, condiments, and other restaurant supplies as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing dining areas before service and cleaning up at the end of shifts.
• Dispose of trash properly and follow restaurant sanitation and food safety procedures.
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and maintain a positive dining experience for guests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Willingness to take direction, learn restaurant procedures, and assist coworkers when needed.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely carry dishes, trays, and restaurant supplies.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including bending, reaching, lifting, and moving items as reasonably required for the position.
• Previous bussing or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. Training is available for motivated applicants.
• Weekend availability is strongly preferred, and flexibility with scheduling is a plus.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
