Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless, sanitized, and properly set for new guests
• Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to maintain a smooth flow of service
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables according to food safety standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, tables, and supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed and ensure sanitation protocols are followed
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Uphold high standards of sanitation, food safety, and hygiene throughout the restaurant environment

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and heavy lifting in accordance with safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and assist guests efficiently
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards within the food industry
• Capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting with a positive attitude
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations or catering experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining smooth service flow
