BUSSER / DISHWASHER

About the Role:

Palermo Ristorante Italiano in Elk Grove, CA is looking for an energetic and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher to join our team! You'll play a vital role in keeping our dining room and kitchen running smoothly, helping deliver an exceptional guest experience every shift. Responsibilities:

• Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including sweeping and wiping down surfaces
• Assist servers and kitchen staff with restocking supplies and running food as needed
• Remove trash and maintain sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
• Restock dishware, utensils, and glassware for front-of-house and back-of-house use
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous bussing or dishwashing experience in a restaurant setting is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
