Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including handling food safely and following hygiene protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
• Manage host/hostess duties such as seating guests, answering phone inquiries with courteous communication skills, and managing POS systems like Aloha or Micros for order processing.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold food safety standards and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, hosting, or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with restaurant technology systems such as OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is a plus.
• A genuine passion for guest service, hospitality, and creating memorable dining experiences.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
