Job Overview

Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
• Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, silverware, and linens promptly and safely
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables
• Handle manual tasks such as lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed, adhering to food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to uphold health regulations and cleanliness standards

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and table setting techniques is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
• Customer service mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to assist in various roles within the restaurant industry
• Experience in catering or hotel hospitality can be beneficial but is not mandatory
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
