Duties

• Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a seamless flow of service and guest satisfaction
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following strict food safety sanitizing procedures
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including ingredient handling and prep work
• Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and managing waste disposal efficiently
• Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Maintain cleanliness of all dining areas, kitchen stations, and dishwashing areas in compliance with sanitation standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while adhering to proper ergonomic practices

Experience

• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Familiarity with food safety management and sanitation procedures is a plus
• Experience with kitchen equipment operation or dishwashing is advantageous
• Ability to follow health and safety standards diligently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy items safely
• Knowledge of restaurant or hospitality operations helps in understanding team dynamics and guest expectations
