Busser/Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
• Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling techniques.
• Assist servers by delivering food orders accurately and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in all service areas through regular cleaning and bussing duties.
• Support the kitchen team with food handling, preparation assistance, and adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks safely when handling supplies or equipment, following safe lifting practices.
• Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering basic questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with kitchen or culinary environments enhances your ability to support the team effectively.
• A friendly attitude with excellent guest service skills to create memorable experiences for every visitor.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
