Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, chairs, floors, and service stations using proper food safety and cleaning procedures.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices to support kitchen and service staff.
• Support food running duties by efficiently transporting dishes from the kitchen to designated tables while adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing duties by removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware to keep the dining area tidy.
• Communicate clearly with team members using effective verbal skills to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic cleaning procedures is advantageous.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards including guest services, banquet experience, or culinary background enhances your candidacy.
• A positive attitude, energetic approach to work, and dedication to providing excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
