Busser/Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Safely transport food and beverages from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
• Assist servers by delivering food orders quickly and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, chairs, and surrounding areas regularly in accordance with food safety standards
• Support the kitchen team with basic food handling, preparation, and bussing duties as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies or equipment around the restaurant

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience with food running, serving, or guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and basic kitchen experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for providing excellent in-person customer service
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely throughout shifts
• Prior banquet or hospitality experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory

Pay: $22.23 - $26.77 per hour
