Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization to maintain a pristine dining environment
• Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Support food preparation and handling tasks as needed, including assisting with plating or garnishing under supervision
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and restaurant protocols to answer guest questions courteously and accurately
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during all service activities
• Support banquet or special event setups by bussing tables quickly and assisting with guest needs in a courteous manner
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any guest concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic food safety practices is advantageous
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
• Prior banquet or hospitality experience can enhance your ability to manage high-volume service settings effectively
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are vital for delivering exceptional guest services
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and walking throughout shifts
• Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food preparation activities
