Job Summary

Duties

• Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist servers with bussing tables, refilling drinks, and delivering condiments or utensils as needed.
• Support food preparation tasks such as plating or garnishing under the guidance of kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to food safety standards.
• Help with basic food handling duties, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure orders are accurate and guest needs are met promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper dishwashing techniques, and basic food handling procedures.
• Experience with beverage preparation, including coffee service or bar support, is a plus.
• Familiarity with guest relations, customer service excellence, and in-person guest interactions.
• Basic math skills for order taking, billing, and cash handling tasks; attention to detail is essential.
