Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience! In this vital role, you will ensure our dining areas are spotless, well-organized, and ready for guests to enjoy. You’ll be the friendly face supporting our servers by swiftly bussing tables, delivering food with precision, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create memorable moments for every guest, making their visit enjoyable and seamless.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining space.
• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers with food running, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs during their meal.
• Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and properly disposing of trash.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies using safe lifting practices.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling or preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and address guest requests promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing, serving, and food running.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
