Busser/Food Runner

Duties

• Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly using proper food running techniques
• Assist servers with bussing duties, including removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware while adhering to food safety standards
• Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and organizing service stations in accordance with health regulations
• Handle manual lifting of heavy trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while providing excellent in-person customer service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing, serving, and basic food preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
