Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This energetic position involves supporting the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, delivering food efficiently from the kitchen to guests, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Duties

• Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Assist servers with food running, supporting smooth service flow during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing utensils and condiments.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or trash removal following safe lifting practices.
• Support in basic food handling and safety procedures to uphold health standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.
• Assist with general cleaning duties including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for processing orders or payments.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations like serving, food running, and guest services enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• A friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all guests.

Pay: $22.80 - $27.46 per hour
