Busser/Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Busser/Food Runner to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent in-person customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food running, bussing, cleaning, and supporting the overall flow of service during assigned shifts. The position requires a proactive attitude, ownership of your shift, and flexibility to work on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with some room for scheduling adjustments.

Duties

• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for incoming guests
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by bussing tables and assisting with general cleaning tasks
• Support food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to hygiene protocols
• Assist with in-person customer service by responding to guest needs courteously and professionally
• Operate POS systems as needed for order accuracy or guest requests
• Own your shift by showing up on time, being attentive to service flow, and taking responsibility for your assigned duties

Skills

• Excellent in-person customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of dishes and utensils
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Strong work ethic with reliability, punctuality, and ownership of responsibilities
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM with some adaptability for scheduling needs

Pay: $19.50 per hour
