Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a positive first impression and managing waitlists if applicable
• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring proper table setting and sanitation between guests
• Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering food or beverages when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs in accordance with food safety standards
• Support kitchen staff with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or dishes using safe lifting practices
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
• Uphold high standards of sanitation and food safety throughout all duties to ensure a hygienic environment for staff and guests

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, table setting, and sanitation procedures is advantageous
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Knowledge of food safety standards and catering or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory
• A proactive mindset with excellent customer service skills to create welcoming atmospheres in busy settings

Pay: $22.11 - $26.63 per hour
