Busser/Server Assistant

In this vital role, you will support the serving staff by maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and properly set for new guests
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, and supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards during food handling and service
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turns and guest needs
• Assist in catering setups or special events as required to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact politely with guests
• Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and proper table setting techniques is advantageous
• A positive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
• Basic understanding of hospitality operations or catering/private events experience is a plus
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain high cleanliness standards

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
