Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and properly set for incoming guests
• Assist servers by bussing dishes, refilling water glasses, and delivering items to tables with promptness and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or supplies using safe lifting practices to support kitchen and service staff
• Support food handling processes by ensuring proper sanitation during table service and catering events
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs through internal communication channels
• Assist with catering setup and breakdown when required, ensuring all food industry standards are met
• Morning availability is preferred but not required

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation protocols, and food safety regulations
• Experience in bussing or supporting food service operations within restaurants or hospitality environments
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with restaurant or catering experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued highly
• Knowledge of table setting techniques and food handling procedures to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
