Busser/Server Assistant

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and properly set for incoming guests.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, supporting a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, supplies, or equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members through internal channels to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols during all cleaning and bussing activities.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures, table setting techniques, and basic catering or kitchen experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality industry standards will help you excel in this role.

Pay: $10.98 per hour
